Birthday Parties at the Zoo!
|
 Have a party your child will remember for years to come at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. Make a lasting impression with a Zoo animal guest, a critter craft, and a ride on our colorful carousel.
Parties are available on Saturday or Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. year–round.

Birthday Party PackagesCRITTER CRAFT
$250 for members/$275 for non-members
Includes:
- Zoo admission for 15 children and 15 adults
- Critter Craft - visor, door hangers, frog & turtle boxes, animal face fans,
or animal photo magnet
- Zoo party paper goods (including plates, napkins, cups, forks & tablecloth)
- Zoo staff party coordinator
- Section of the Carousel Building for 1 ½ hours
- Special gift for the Birthday Child
- 4 Carousel rides per child
- 2 Large Cheese Pizzas
- Two 2 liter bottles of soda (choices are at the bottom of the page)
ANIMAL ENCOUNTER
$300 for members/$325 for non-members
An Animal Encounter is a great way to make any Birthday Party extra special!
A Zoo Educator will bring out one of our “fuzzy,” “scaly”
or “creepy crawlies” for all the party children to meet. They’ll
get a chance to touch the animal and learn all about its amazing habits and
adaptations. Choose a mammal, reptile, bird or a “creepy crawly.”
Animal Encounter Choices:
- Reptiles
Tortoise, Bearded Dragon, Snake, or an Iguana
- Bird
Dove
- Mammals
Rabbit, Ferret, Hedgehog, or a Chinchilla
- Creepy Crawlies
Animals are like us, some days are better than others so we do not promise
any particular animal, so we ask that you choose one of the groups above.
