BRIDGEPORT, CT – Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo will soon transform into a whimsical wonderland for a day where children can bring their favorite storybook characters to life! On Saturday, September 12th from 10am-2pm, the Zoo will host “Fairy Tails Day,” a fantastical event filled with enchanting activities for kids of all ages.
Fairy Tails Day will feature…
Meet & Greet Storytime Princesses and Heroes: Children can meet and take photos with their beloved heroes and heroines; Belle, Tiana, Ariel, Superman, Supergirl, Snow White, and Cinderella.
Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos: Add a touch of magic with face painting and glitter tattoos.
Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite character and let the magic unfold. The day of fantasy and fun is made possible by the Zoo’s Sweet Storybook Sponsor, Pediatric Healthcare Associates, who will be on-site offering health education and awareness, along with surprise giveaways for families.
