Silver Vase Plant

The Silver Vase Plant (Aechmea fasciata), also called the urn plant, is an epiphytic bromeliad native to Southeastern Brazil. It produces a stunning bloom atop a stemless basal rosette of stiff, arching, silvery-green leaves that are broad, elliptic-oval, and strap-shaped. The leaf margins are lined with black spines, giving the plant its distinctive appearance.
